About the artist
Liz Morrison is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and is also Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) from her paternal grandfather's branch of the family tree. Art is her passion, whether viewing the work of other artists or creating her own pieces. Liz is self taught in several art media and techniques and quite often combines them. She is fascinated with the beauty of peacocks, colorful fabric, and flamboyantly attired humans. Her art is influenced by her interests and her heritage so her style often eludes categorization.
